Skin overview

★ Stiletto Knife | Doppler (Ruby) is a Doppler phase that is almost entirely saturated red, with darker marbled swirls running through the candy coat on the blade. In Factory New the coat is unbroken from the tip to the bolster, so the red reads as one deep, glossy layer. Copies at this grade show the colour exactly as the finish was designed.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

Appearance in Factory New

The long, narrow blade is coated in deep red with darker, almost black marbled clouds and lighter red highlights along the spine and edge. The bolster, the curved guard tips and the pommel cap carry the same red candy finish, with darker tones in the recesses.

In Factory New the red coat is intact across the blade, the guard and the pommel. The tip and edge keep their full colour, and the glossy candy layer shows no scuffs. In game the knife reads as a solid, vivid red at any distance. Only very close inspection may reveal tiny marks on copies near the top of the range.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Stiletto Knife | Doppler Ruby is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

StatTrak™ version

This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.

What to check before buying

  • Compare the amount of dark marbling on the blade, since some copies show a cleaner, brighter red than others.
  • Check the blade tip and the guard tips in inspect, as these are the first places where the coat breaks.
  • Look at the float position within the wear range, because copies near the upper limit of Minimal Wear can show more marks.
  • If you take a StatTrak™ version or a name-tagged copy, make sure the counter or tag suits you.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the Ruby phase with a fully intact red coat.
  • Players who inspect their knife often and notice small marks on the tip.
  • The grade for those who want the colour exactly as designed.
