Skin overview
This Stiletto carries the Black Pearl phase of Doppler, a dark marbled finish where silver veins and a violet sheen move across a near-black blade. In Minimal Wear the look stays almost identical to the cleanest grade, with only fine marks near the tip and edge that are hard to spot without inspecting the knife. It is a way to own the same dark pearl colouring while accepting a small compromise on condition.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The Doppler finish covers the long, narrow blade, which is painted in near-black with marbled silver patches and a violet-blue sheen under the candy coat. The bolster and the flared guard are dark polished metal, as is the end cap of the handle.
In Minimal Wear faint scratches appear at the needle tip and in short strokes along the cutting edge. The flat of the blade, the bolster and the handle still look clean. At normal viewing distance in game the knife reads the same as a Factory New copy, because the dark base hides light wear well. The difference becomes visible only when inspecting the blade up close.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08
The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Stiletto Knife | Doppler Black Pearl is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
It drops as a rare special item from:
StatTrak™ version
This is the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon shows confirmed kills. There is also the regular version without the counter.
What to check before buying
- Look at the blade in the inspect view, since the share of silver and violet against black varies between copies.
- Check the needle tip and the cutting edge, the first places where wear shows on this knife.
- Note where the float sits within its grade, as a low value keeps the candy coat cleaner.
- See whether the knife has a StatTrak™ counter or a name tag if either matters to you.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want the same dark pearl look in game and are fine with faint marks on close inspection.
- Buyers who prefer to compromise on condition rather than on phase.
- Conclusion: practically the same knife in play, with a small concession on condition.
