Skin overview

★ Ursus Knife | Doppler (Phase 3) pairs a tanto blade with a candy-coated marbled finish in deep blue, violet and teal-green over a dark base. In Factory New the coating is unbroken from tip to guard, so the colour transitions stay smooth and the metallic depth is fully preserved. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the finish exactly as intended.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

Appearance in Factory New

The finish covers only the blade: a faceted tanto profile with a serrated section along the spine near the guard. The blade is marbled in dark navy and black with bright blue and violet areas, and teal-green tones that gather closer to the guard on the copy shown.

The blade shows no visible scratches, and the candy coat keeps an even gloss over the whole surface. The tip, cutting edge and serrations look as clean as the flat of the blade. In first-person view the colours read deep and saturated, with the green flashes clearly separated from the blue. The grip and guard stay unchanged, as they carry no paint.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Ursus Knife | Doppler Phase 3 is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Look at how much blue, violet and green each blade shows, since the marbling differs from copy to copy.
  • Check the float within the range, especially on Minimal Wear copies, where marks near the tip become more visible at the upper end.
  • Inspect the tip, cutting edge and serrated spine in the preview, as these areas lose coating first.
  • Check whether the copy is StatTrak™ and whether it carries a name tag, if either matters to you.

Who the Factory New quality suits

  • Collectors who want the marbled coating without any marks.
  • Players who inspect their knife often and notice the smallest scratches.
  • Best choice when a clean blade matters more than saving at a lower grade.
