Skin overview

The Ursus Knife's faceted blade carries the familiar Tiger Tooth look: warm orange-gold metal crossed by brown diagonal stripes, set against an olive rubber grip. In Minimal Wear the anodizing can show faint marks near the tip or along the edge, but these are hard to spot outside close inspection. The overall colour and pattern read the same as on cleaner copies, so this grade is a practical way to get the look.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The finish covers the blade only: the faceted tanto blade is anodized in a bright orange-gold that shifts slightly in tone across its facets. Dark brown tiger stripes run diagonally over both the flat and the bevel, thinning and tapering toward the tip.

Light wear may show as tiny scuffs at the tanto tip and in spots along the cutting edge. The main flat of the blade and most of the stripes stay intact, with only slight softening at the edges of the pattern on some copies. At normal distance in game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The handle area is unaffected, since the finish does not cover it.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Ursus Knife | Tiger Tooth is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the range, since copies closer to the clean end show fewer marks.
  • Inspect the tanto tip and the cutting edge, as these are the first places where scratches appear.
  • Look at the stripes up close to make sure their edges are not softened on the blade flat.
  • Check whether the knife carries a name tag or StatTrak™ counter and whether that matters to you.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want the Tiger Tooth look in game without paying for the cleanest grade.
  • Buyers entering the knife market who accept marks visible only on close inspection.
  • Conclusion: a practical grade that looks almost identical to Factory New in play.
