Skin overview

The Doppler (Phase 2) finish turns the narrow Stiletto Knife blade into a field of pink marbling broken by dark violet swirls, matched by a pink bolster and pommel cap. In Minimal Wear the look is almost the same as a fresh copy, with only faint marks that need close inspection to notice. It suits a buyer who wants this colour scheme and accepts a tiny trace of use in exchange for a lower grade.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The long, narrow blade carries the main Doppler effect: a glossy pink and magenta base with darker purple and near-black marbled streaks running along its length. The guard, bolster and pommel cap share the same pink metallic tone, which ties both ends of the knife together.

Light scuffs may appear at the very tip of the blade and in places along the edge, slightly dulling the gloss there. The bolster and pommel can show faint lightening on their outer rims, while the flat of the blade keeps its full pattern. At normal viewing distance in game the difference from a fresh copy is practically invisible. The pink colour and the marbling remain clean across most of the knife.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of ★ Stiletto Knife | Doppler Phase 2 is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the pattern, since the ratio of bright pink to dark purple marbling on the blade differs from copy to copy.
  • Check how close the float is to the clean end of the range if you want the tip fully intact.
  • Inspect the blade tip and the bolster rims, as these are the first places where the coating fades.
  • Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or has a name tag, since both change what you are paying for.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want this colour scheme for everyday use and do not need a perfect tip.
  • Buyers looking for an easier entry into this phase while keeping a near-clean look.
  • Conclusion: almost the same knife in game, at a more forgiving grade.
