Skin overview

This Ruby phase of the ★ Stiletto Knife keeps its red-on-red marbling, framed by red guard tips and pommel against a grey-brown handle inlay. In Minimal Wear the difference from Factory New is limited to faint marks near the blade tip and on the guard edges, which are hard to spot in first-person view. The grade suits buyers who want the Ruby colour without paying for a fully clean coat.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The long, narrow blade is coated in deep red with darker, almost black marbled clouds and lighter red highlights along the spine and edge. The bolster, the curved guard tips and the pommel cap carry the same red candy finish, with darker tones in the recesses.

In Minimal Wear small scratches appear at the very tip of the blade and on the edges of the guard tips. The marbled red on the flat of the blade and the pommel still looks clean. In normal play these marks are barely noticeable, and the knife reads almost the same as Factory New. The handle inlay and the red button stay without visible wear.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The float of ★ Stiletto Knife | Doppler Ruby ranges from 0 to 0.08; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.08 — 12% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying

  • Compare the amount of dark marbling on the blade, since some copies show a cleaner, brighter red than others.
  • Check the blade tip and the guard tips in inspect, as these are the first places where the coat breaks.
  • Look at the float position within the wear range, because copies near the upper limit of Minimal Wear can show more marks.
  • If you take a StatTrak™ version or a name-tagged copy, make sure the counter or tag suits you.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want the Ruby colour in hand and do not mind faint marks on the tip.
  • Buyers looking for a lower entry point into this phase.
  • A practical choice when the look in game matters more than a spotless coat.
