Skin overview

★ Ursus Knife | Doppler (Ruby) pairs a tanto-style survival blade with a deep, saturated red finish broken by darker marbled swirls. In Factory New the candy coat is uniform from the tip to the guard, so the red looks wet and glassy and the marbling stays sharp. The olive textured grip and black guard frame the blade and make the colour stand out even more.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

Appearance in Factory New

The entire blade, from the angled tanto tip to the serrated section near the guard, is coated in a deep red with darker crimson and near-black marbled swirls. The candy coat gives the red a translucent, layered look, and the density of the dark marbling differs from one pattern to another. The finish does not extend to the handle: the grip stays olive green with a dotted rubber texture, while the guard and pommel are black, with a lanyard hole at the end. On worn copies the paint goes first at the very tip and along the cutting edge, where the silver metal shows through as small specks.

In Factory New the red coat is intact across the whole blade, including the tip and the serrations. Copies closer to the upper end of the grade may hide a speck or two at the tip, but they are practically invisible in game. At normal viewing distance the blade reads as solid, glossy red with clearly defined dark swirls. The olive grip and black guard look the same at every float, since the finish does not cover them.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of ★ Ursus Knife | Doppler Ruby is 0–0.08; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (88% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the pattern: some Ruby copies show more dark marbling, others a cleaner, more even red, and this changes how the blade reads.
  • Check the float position within the grade, since a low float means a fully clean tip.
  • Inspect the tip and cutting edge closely, as this is where the first specks of silver appear.
  • Knives do not take stickers, so the only extras to check are a name tag and the StatTrak™ counter.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Collectors who want the Ruby phase in its cleanest form, with an untouched tip.
  • Players who inspect their knife often and want the red to look glossy and even every time.
  • Conclusion: the reference copy for anyone who wants this phase without compromise.
