Overview
2017 Service Medal is a collectible of Extraordinary rarity. Its in-game description says it is awarded for outstanding service and achievement in 2017. The pale central star, set inside a gold wreath with crossed knives below, makes it easy to tell apart.
2017 Service Medal is a CS2 item of the collectible type of the Extraordinary grade.
Appearance
The base is a gold multi-pointed star with faceted rays. A laurel wreath circles a large central star filled with pale blue enamel and fine radiating lines, framed by a twisted gold border. Two crossed combat knives sit across the lower part of the wreath. The palette stays limited to gold and light blue, so the medal remains clear even at a small size.
How it is used
The medal can be shown on your profile as a displayed collectible, and other players can see it next to your name on the scoreboard during a match. It does not change gameplay.

- Players who want to mark their activity in 2017 on their profile.
- Collectors who keep service medals from different years.
- Those who prefer a classic gold award design with a light accent colour.
