Overview
2024 Service Medal is a collectible pin for the player profile. The Steam description says it is awarded for outstanding service and achievement in 2024. It is recognisable by its purple star set inside a pentagon frame with a burst of gold rays behind it.
2024 Service Medal is a CS2 item of the collectible type of the Extraordinary grade.
Appearance
The centre is a large five-pointed star filled with violet enamel, with a small silver star in the middle. It sits in a gold outline inside a silver pentagon frame with a faceted edge. Behind the frame are smaller gold stars and straight gold rods with round tips that fan out like rays. The item carries the Extraordinary rarity.
Where and how it is used
As a collectible, the medal is set as the displayed item in the player profile and appears next to the player's name on the in-game scoreboard. It has no effect on gameplay.
Who it suits
- Players who want to show their activity and progress in 2024 directly on the scoreboard.
- Collectors who keep service medals from different years in one inventory.
- Those who like a purple and gold palette on a profile badge.
- In short, a calm way to mark a year in the game without changing anything in gameplay.
