AK-47 | Gold Arabesque pairs gold-painted metal with a hand-painted ornamental pattern on the stock and handguard. In Factory New the gold reads as an even, polished surface and the fine lattice of the arabesque keeps every line sharp. This is the grade for buyers who want the contrast between metal and ornament exactly as designed.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver, barrel, gas tube, front sight and the curved magazine are painted in a uniform olive-gold tone with subtle filigree accents on the metal. The handguard and the stock carry a hand-painted arabesque: a dense lattice of cells and loops in pale pink, cream and brown that resembles carved lace. The pistol grip stays a plain muted mauve-brown, which separates the two decorated zones. On worn copies the gold rubs off first along the edges of the receiver, the magazine and the muzzle area, while the ornament fades first on the heel and lower edge of the stock and on the edges of the handguard.

The gold on the receiver, barrel and magazine is even, with no visible rubbing. The arabesque on the stock and handguard is crisp down to the smallest cells. In game the rifle reads as a clean gold surface with sharp ornament on the furniture. Floats near the bottom of the range look identical to the inspect image.
