Skin overview

AK-47 | Hydroponic pairs bright metallic green with the rifle's red-brown wood, so the bamboo theme carries across the whole weapon. In Factory New the anodized green is at its most saturated and the pale bamboo streaks on the receiver are sharp. This is the grade for buyers who want the colour contrast exactly as designed.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Appearance in Factory New

The front sight, gas tube and the metal around the handguard are coated in bright anodized green with a metallic sheen. The receiver is pale grey-green with a bamboo leaf motif in green and light streaks running across the dust cover, plus a small red mark on its side. The handguard, pistol grip and stock are reddish-brown wood with strong, wavy grain that echoes the natural theme, while the magazine stays dark and plain. On worn copies the anodized layer comes off first on edges and protruding parts such as the front sight, the top of the dust cover and the receiver edges, exposing silver metal.

The anodized green is even and glossy on the front sight, gas tube and receiver accents. The bamboo streaks on the dust cover have crisp edges, and the wood grain is fully visible. In game the rifle shows strong, clean contrast between green metal and red wood. Nothing on the weapon looks worn.

The whole float range of AK-47 | Hydroponic is 0–0.8; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (9% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Rising Sun Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
