Skin overview

This is the anime cover AUG in its most damaged form: the vinyl is heavily scraped, exposing bare metal across large parts of the body. Violet and white patches survive here and there, but the portrait and headlines are badly broken up. The grade has a rough, peeled-poster look of its own and is the cheapest way to own the skin.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The body is covered in a white vinyl with deep violet and blue accents, styled as an anime magazine cover with red and blue Japanese headlines along the upper receiver. The stock carries the main artwork, a red-haired girl in dark clothing set against the white background, with a small round emblem and captions beside her.

Large areas of vinyl are scraped off across the stock, receiver, trigger guard and magazine, revealing metal underneath. Only scattered fragments of white, violet and the portrait survive. Because this grade covers a wide float range, the amount of remaining art varies noticeably between copies. In game it reads as a heavily peeled print on a dark rifle.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1

The whole float range of AUG | Akihabara Accept is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Rising Sun Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Taking Battle-Scarred as the baseline:

Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in violet, white, pink or red match the magazine palette, and anime-style or holographic stickers fit the cover theme. Placing them on the receiver and magazine keeps the portrait on the stock visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the condition of the white vinyl changes noticeably inside each grade.
  • Look closely at the stock, because the portrait there is the main artwork and the first thing that suffers on worn copies.
  • Inspect the magazine base and the front of the trigger guard, which are among the first places to lose paint.
  • Note whether the copy is a Souvenir and whether applied stickers suit the artwork or cover parts of it.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players who like the rough peeled-poster look.
  • Buyers looking for the cheapest way to own the skin.
  • Best for those who pick a copy by how much art remains.
