Skin overview

Contractor is recognisable by its three-colour spray-painted scheme rather than by any pattern or artwork. In Field-Tested the colours stay readable, but the paint starts to thin on corners and protruding edges, giving the rifle a used, field-issued character. For a finish modelled on painted service equipment, this light wear fits the idea well.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The polymer body and stock of the AUG are painted a muted dark green, which covers most of the rifle's side surface. The magazine is sand-tan, and the same colour appears on small fittings such as the trigger area and the sling mounts.

Field-Tested shows clear chipping on the muzzle and rail and the first worn spots on the corners of the stock and the magazine ribs. The flat sides of the green body are still mostly clean. In game the colour scheme reads fully, with wear noticeable only on edges. The rifle looks used but well kept.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in tan, olive, khaki or muted gold continue the military scheme without clashing with the green body. Dark navy or black stickers placed on the green stock repeat the colour of the upper rail and keep the look restrained.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position within the wear grade, since Factory New copies cannot be very low because of the range.
• Look at the muzzle, rail edges and magazine ribs on the inspect screen, as these parts lose paint first.
• Souvenir copies come with fixed stickers, so decide whether you want them on the rifle.
• Pattern does not matter for this solid colour finish, so compare copies by float and stickers only.
