Skin overview

Flame Jörmungandr combines a dark rail, scope and barrel with an orange serpent-covered lower body. Because the skin's float range stops well short of the usual maximum, Battle-Scarred copies here are only moderately beaten: the anodized coat is worn through on edges and grips, but the stock still carries much of the orange. It is the cheapest way to get the look with a rugged, used feel.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The lower receiver and the whole stock are covered in a copper-orange anodized coat with a dense pattern of dark knotwork lines forming the coils of the serpent, with small red accents toward the top of the stock. The pistol grip and the foregrip carry the same orange with brighter metallic highlights, and the trigger guard shows patches of orange over grey.

The grips and the trigger guard lose a large share of their orange, and the stock edges and lower body show wide silver patches. Since the float range ends early, the wear stays moderate and the serpent pattern is still partly visible on the stock. In game the rifle reads as orange with heavy scuffing rather than stripped metal. The dark barrel, rail and scope look the same as on cleaner copies.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.5

The whole float range of AUG | Flame Jörmungandr is 0–0.5; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.5 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Norse Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 9 skins of the AUG in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, copper, red and black stickers match the warm anodized orange and the dark knotwork. Placements on the dark upper receiver near the scope stand out well against the grey, while stickers on the stock work best in tones close to the orange.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low-float copy shows noticeably less bare metal on the grips.
  • Look at the pistol grip and foregrip first, as they are closest to the camera and wear before the stock.
  • A Souvenir version exists, so confirm whether the listing is a Souvenir or a regular copy.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, because they change how the orange stock reads.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Entry-level buyers who want the cheapest way into this skin.
  • Players who prefer a rugged look, knowing the wear here stays moderate.
  • The lowest-cost option with the orange still visible.
