Skin overview

AUG | Storm is a plain spray-painted finish: the body is a pale mint green, the magazine and foregrip a cool blue-grey, while the barrel, rail and scope stay dark. In Factory New the soft colours sit as even, unbroken fields with clean edges. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the calm stormy palette exactly as intended.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver and stock shell are painted a pale mint green that covers most of the rifle. The magazine and vertical foregrip are a muted blue-grey, which separates them clearly from the body. The barrel, top rail, scope and smaller fittings remain dark gunmetal, giving the light parts a sharp outline. There is no pattern: each part is a single flat colour, as the spray-paint style implies. On worn copies the paint goes first from edges and raised details such as the stock corners, the magazine ribs, the grip and the area around the trigger guard.

The paint is complete on every part, with no chips on the body, magazine or grip. Colour borders between the green shell and dark metal stay crisp. In game the rifle reads as clean, flat pastel blocks. The Factory New range for this skin is narrow, so such copies sit right at the clean end of what the finish allows.
