Show allAllSkin overview
The rifle is dressed in flat black with one orange accent, a deliberately understated design. In Minimal Wear any marks are faint and sit on edges that are hard to spot in game. The surface still looks practically fresh, so this grade gives almost the same picture as the cleanest copies.
Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The receiver, barrel and stock are covered in flat matte black with a slightly grey cast under light. A thin orange stripe sits on the front of the receiver, next to small engraved markings, and is the only bright detail on the rifle.
Tiny light marks may appear on the muzzle and the sharpest edges of the receiver. The stripe stays clean. At normal distance in game the difference from Factory New is hard to see. The stock and the large flat surfaces look untouched.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The float of AWP | Black Box ranges from 0 to 1; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 8% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Spy Tech Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Orange, black and white stickers echo the stripe and keep the minimal look. Matte or holo stickers in muted tones work well on the receiver, while a single bright sticker near the stripe adds a second accent without clutter.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, because worn spots on this plain finish stand out against the black.
- Inspect the orange stripe on the receiver, as it is the only accent and chips are easy to notice.
- Look at the muzzle and the edges of the stock, which lose paint first.
- Review any stickers or name tag, since on such a simple finish they strongly change the overall look.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Sticker crafters, since faint marks stay hidden under the design.
- Conclusion: practically the Factory New look at a sensible compromise.
