AWP | Fade is a Covert sniper rifle finish with translucent paint airbrushed over chrome, so warm orange, red, pink and violet tones blend into one another along the body. In Factory New the gradient is at its clearest and the chrome base gives every colour a deep, glossy look. This is the grade for buyers who want the transitions between colours to look smooth and untouched.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The barrel, scope, bipod and bolt stay in dark grey metal, which frames the coloured body. The receiver starts in orange and gold near the front and shifts into red and pink along its length. The stock and grip carry the pink further back, turning to magenta with violet and blue tones around the grip and the rear of the stock. The magazine sits low as a small grey block under the receiver. On worn copies the translucent paint fades first on sharp edges and raised areas of the receiver and stock, where the chrome base starts to show through.

In Factory New the paint covers the receiver and stock fully, with no visible scratches on edges. The chrome reflections under the colour stay even, so the gradient looks continuous from front to back. In game at normal distance the rifle reads as a bright, glossy sweep of warm colours. Copies near the bottom of this grade look practically identical to the preview.
