Show allAllSkin overview
AWP | Medusa is recognisable by its dark, almost painted-stone look, with the gorgon and her snakes picked out in cold blue and green tones. In Field-Tested the paint starts to break on the edges of the stock and around the body, letting metal show through in places. The overall image is still clearly readable, and the scuffs give the finish a weathered character.
Item type: sniper rifle. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The barrel, muzzle and scope are kept in dark grey and black, so the attention goes to the rear of the rifle. The receiver and lower body carry a near-black base with blue and teal detailing, and the stock holds the main artwork: the gorgon with snakes coiling across the thumbhole and cheek area, highlighted with lighter cold tones.
Wear spreads along the edges of the stock, the cheek rest and the grip, and the corners of the receiver and magazine show bare metal. Some thin snake lines near the edges start to break up. At normal distance the picture still reads well, with the scuffs visible as lighter patches. The centre of the stock artwork stays mostly intact.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of AWP | Medusa ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
AWP | Medusa belongs to The Gods and Monsters Collection, which holds 14 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in blue, teal, silver or holo finishes match the cold palette of the gorgon artwork. Placing them on the dark barrel or receiver keeps the painting on the stock visible.
What to check before buying
- Look at the float position within the wear grade, since a low float keeps the stock edges noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the gorgon's face and the cheek rest, as wear on these areas affects the look most.
- Check the stock edges and the corners of the receiver and magazine for exposed metal.
- For Souvenir copies, check which stickers are already applied, since they cannot be changed.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want the recognisable artwork with moderate wear.
- Those who like a weathered, used look on the rifle.
- A balanced option between appearance and accessibility.
