Skin overview

The Mortis look rests on a dark, almost antique palette and a copper-toned ornamental motif drawn from the Death card. Minimal Wear keeps that look practically intact, with only faint marks on the small orange rings that show up on close inspection. It gives nearly the same picture as the cleanest grade at a more modest level.

Item type: sniper rifle. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The long barrel is dark gunmetal, broken up by orange-copper rings at the muzzle and on the barrel clamp. The receiver and stock are painted in dark brown and olive tones, with diagonal orange stripes near the front of the stock and fine copper-gold ornament across the body and the rear of the stock.

Tiny specks may appear on the edges of the muzzle ring and the bipod tips. The stock, receiver and ornament remain clean. At normal distance in game the difference from Factory New is hard to see. Only close inspection shows the first marks.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

StatTrak™ and Souvenir

Stickers and crafts

Copper, gold, orange and dark brown stickers match the palette and the ornate tarot theme. Placements along the dark barrel or the front of the body near the orange stripes keep the stock ornament visible. Holo or gold stickers work well against the dark base.

What to check before buying

  • Check the float position within the wear grade, since lower values keep the copper rings and stock ornament noticeably cleaner.
  • Inspect the muzzle ring, bipod tips and stock edges, because these parts show wear first.
  • Look at the stock sides to see how much of the ornament is intact on worn copies.
  • Review any applied stickers and name tag, as they change the look of the dark body.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look and do not inspect every edge.
  • Buyers who want to save compared with Factory New without visible loss in game.
  • Conclusion: a sensible alternative to the cleanest grade.
