AWP | Queen's Gambit is a Covert sniper rifle finish in royal blue and gold, with a queen hand painted in front of the butt stock. In Factory New the gold ornament on the receiver and stock stays sharp, and the blue on the scope and stock end looks deep and even. How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver and stock are finished in gold with a dense engraved ornament that runs along the body and around the thumbhole. The barrel stays dark, contrasting with the gold muzzle brake and gold bipod legs. The scope is painted royal blue with gold bands and rings, and the end of the stock carries a blue panel with gold edging. On worn copies the gold rubs off first on the muzzle brake, the scope rings, the bipod and the sharp edges of the receiver and stock, followed by the raised parts of the ornament.

The finish is clean across the whole rifle, with no visible marks on the receiver, scope or stock. The gold ornament keeps full contrast and the blue areas look uniform. In game the engraved detail is clearly visible on the receiver in first person.
