Rouchard was born into an ancient aristocratic family and opted to join the Gendarmerie Nationale to avoid the requirement to attend a notorious Swiss finishing school for women. As an Aspirant, she demonstrated exceptional skills in offensive tactics, hostage negotiations, and particularly blade-based fighting, which quickly won the recognition of her superiors. She received several promotions and is now famous as 'Le Couteau' (The Knife), though some consider her direct in her approach at times. Currently, Rouchard is requested when others fail to find a solution. It is but a scratch.
