Skin overview

Hand Cannon turns the Desert Eagle into something that looks like an old brass cannon, green with oxidation and streaked along the slide. In Field-Tested the scuffs on the slide edges and muzzle start to read as genuine use, which suits the weathered theme. The overall colour scheme remains clearly recognisable.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide and frame are covered in a teal-green patina with darker mottling and fine vertical streaks, imitating oxidised brass. Toward the muzzle the slide shifts into a yellow-brass tone with dark drips running down from the top.

Wear becomes visible along the top and edges of the slide and on the muzzle face, where bare metal shows through in thin lines. The front of the trigger guard may pick up first light marks. In game the scuffs read as part of the aged look rather than damage. The sides of the frame and the lower slide still hold most of the patina.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Desert Eagle | Hand Cannon is 0.01–0.7; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (33% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, bronze and brass-toned stickers match the antique metal theme, while teal and dark green ones blend into the patina. Placing them along the slide keeps the black grip panels clear and preserves the contrast.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the slide edges and muzzle show the difference first.
  • Look closely at the brass-yellow muzzle end, as it is the first area to lose its colour on worn copies.
  • Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so make sure they suit you.
  • Review any stickers or name tag on the listing, as they change both the look and the value for other buyers.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who enjoy the weathered theme and do not mind visible edge wear.
  • Buyers looking for the main look of the skin at a moderate cost.
  • A practical everyday choice that fits the aged style.
