Skin overview

Elite 1.6 relies on plain dark metal, so heavy wear changes its character rather than hiding a pattern. In Battle-Scarred the edges and raised parts turn bare and pale, and the pistols look like old field tools. It is the most affordable way to own this rugged pair.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

Both slides are finished in dark gunmetal with a fine worn-metal texture, rear serrations and small stamped markings on the sides. The barrels, frames and trigger guards follow the same charcoal steel, with slightly lighter highlights on edges and bolts.

Edges and raised parts across both pistols are heavily worn and pale. The slides look patchy, and the grips lose part of their dark finish at the corners. Stampings are faded. In game the pair reads as old, heavily used steel, with only the inner flat areas staying dark.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.7

The whole float range of Dual Berettas | Elite 1.6 is 0–0.7; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.7 segment (36% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What it costs in each quality

Among 9 skins of the Dual Berettas in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 8th by price, counting from the dearest.

Which stickers suit it

The dark steel suits muted metallic, black or holo stickers that keep the classic look. A small red sticker near the frame picks up the red accents of the pistols. Bright multicolour stickers will dominate this plain finish.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, as it decides how much of the slide tops and edges is already worn.
  • Look at the slide tops and muzzles first, since they lose the dark finish before anything else.
  • On a dark plain finish any applied stickers stand out strongly, so check that they suit you.
  • Pick between StatTrak™ and Souvenir copies deliberately, since both versions of this skin exist.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Fans of heavily worn, rough-looking steel.
  • The budget pick with the most character.
