Skin overview

Dual Berettas | Retribution pairs bright polished steel slides and frames with warm brown wood grips, giving the pistols a classic, almost traditional look. In Factory New the metal keeps its full mirror-like shine and the wood grain stays rich and even. This is the cleanest way to see the contrast between cold steel and warm wood that defines the skin.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Factory New

Both pistols have slides and frames in bright polished silver steel, with visible serrations at the rear of the slides and a reflective finish along the barrels. The trigger guards and triggers stay in the same steel tone, while small dark pins and screws break up the metal surfaces. The grips carry brown wood panels with a clear natural grain, held by dark screws, which gives the set its warm contrast. On worn copies the shine fades first on the slide edges, the muzzle ends and the front of the frames, followed by scratches on the flat sides of the slides. The wood panels lose colour first along their edges and around the screws.

The steel slides and frames are fully polished with no visible marks. The wood grips show even colour and a clear grain from edge to edge. In game the pistols reflect light cleanly and look exactly like the preview image. Every part of the finish is intact.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The float of Dual Berettas | Retribution ranges from 0 to 0.45; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 16% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Dual Berettas | Retribution belongs to The Huntsman Collection, which holds 20 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Note: It was removed because one of its creators was also involved with the M4A4 Howl art theft. This is no longer obtainable from the Huntsman Weapon Case, but remains part of The Huntsman Collection and still works with trade-up contracts.

StatTrak™ and Souvenir

There is also a the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon tracks kills. Right now it is 1.6× dearer than the regular one. There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Silver, gold and holo stickers work well with the polished steel, while brown, black or muted stickers echo the wood grips. Placements on the flat sides of the slides keep the grips and their grain visible.

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in Field-Tested can look close to Minimal Wear.
• Look at the slide edges and muzzles on the inspect screen, as they lose their shine first.
• Check the wood grips for faded edges on more worn copies.
• Look at applied stickers and name tags, since they change the clean steel look.
