Show allAllSkin overview
Mecha Industries is recognisable by its white-and-red robotic styling and the perforated plate on the stock. In Field-Tested the light paint starts to show scuffs on the handle, barrel and magazine, which gives the clean mech look a used, working character while the red stripes still read clearly.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver and the long carry handle are covered in off-white plates with thin red stripes running along the handle and the side of the body. Dark grey inserts sit under the handle and along the lower receiver, with ribbed details and panel lines that suggest machine parts.
Scratches become visible on the carry handle edge, the barrel and the lower edge of the magazine, with some wear on the stock corners. The white surface loses a little of its evenness and can look slightly greyed in spots. In game the scheme still reads clearly, the wear shows mostly when inspecting. The central receiver and most of the red stripes stay clean.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of FAMAS | Mecha Industries is 0–0.5; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (46% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the grade, as lower values keep the white plates noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the top edge of the carry handle and the muzzle, since these parts lose paint first.
- Look at the bottom of the magazine and the stock corners for scratches on worn copies.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag, as they change how the clean white body looks.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the recognisable mech design for everyday matches.
- Those who like a slightly used, working-hardware feel.
- A balanced middle option for play.
