FAMAS | Meow 36 (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Meow 36 is recognisable by its layered greens, the MEOW lettering on the handle and the dark stripe graphics running along the body. In Field-Tested the green layers start to show scuffs on the handle and the front of the body, while the overall colour scheme stays intact. For many players this is the practical middle point where the skin still looks green and tidy in a match.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver and carry handle are covered in olive and lime greens with darker green and near-black panels, and the handle carries the MEOW lettering together with dark arrow-like stripes. The forward body and handguard continue the green gradient with light highlights along the contours, while the barrel stays black.

Field-Tested brings visible scuffs to the carry handle, the edges of the receiver and the ridges of the stock. The MEOW lettering and arrow stripes start to look slightly broken in places, and some light highlights lose their clarity. In game the rifle still reads as a clearly green FAMAS with its dark panels, and wear shows mostly when looking closely. The magazine faces and the middle of the body stay mostly clean.

Stickers and crafts

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies closer to the cleaner end keep the handle lettering sharper.
• Look at the carry handle with the MEOW lettering, as it is the first area where the finish shows scratches.
• Inspect the stock ridges and body edges on worn copies to judge how much metal shows through.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag, because they change how the green artwork reads.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who want the green colour scheme to read clearly in matches.
• Buyers looking for a sensible middle option between clean and worn.
• Conclusion: a practical everyday FAMAS skin.
