FAMAS | Pulse (Factory New)

Skin overview

FAMAS | Pulse covers the rifle in sharp fuchsia and violet fragments laid over a dark gunmetal base. In Factory New the pink shards stay saturated and their edges against the grey are crisp across the whole body. This is the cleanest way to see the shattered pattern as intended.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Factory New

The FAMAS has a dark gunmetal base covered with angular fuchsia and violet fragments. The carry handle and receiver carry the densest pink areas, while the stock shows a radiating cracked pattern like broken glass. The magazine is dark with scattered pink shards, and the barrel, grip and trigger guard stay mostly plain grey. On worn copies the paint first leaves the top of the carry handle, the edges of the stock and the magazine, exposing grey metal.

The paint is intact on every part of the rifle. Pink and violet shards keep full saturation and sharp borders against the grey base. In game the colours look bright on the carry handle and stock. Nothing is chipped on the edges.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The float of FAMAS | Pulse ranges from 0 to 0.4; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 18% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

• Check the float position within the wear grade, since a lower value keeps more pink on the carry handle.
• Inspect the top of the carry handle and the stock edges, where the paint chips first.
• Look at the magazine edges on worn copies, as grey patches there are visible in first person.
• Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change the look and the value of a copy.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the pink shards fully intact.
• Players building a clean sticker craft around saturated colours.
• A choice for those who want the finish in its best form.
