Five-SeveN | Buddy (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Buddy is easy to recognise by its two-tone layout: brushed tan camo on top, dark slate camo below, yellow outlines and badges in between. In Field-Tested the slide shows visible scuffs on its edges and the pinstripes start to break up on the most exposed spots. The overall scheme still reads clearly from first-person view.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The slide is covered in a brushed tan, brown and ochre camo that wraps over the top and around the cutouts, with a white circular badge carrying the number near the rear sight. The frame and trigger guard are painted in a slate-blue camo with darker patches, accented by thin yellow pinstripes that follow the contours of the frame and the accessory rail.

Scuffs become visible along the top and edges of the slide, and the muzzle end shows some bare metal. The yellow pinstripes start to break on the rail and the lower edge of the frame. The badge and grip emblem are still readable. In game the wear is noticeable on the slide but the colour scheme stays clear.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Five-SeveN | Buddy is 0–0.55; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (42% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What it costs in each quality

Among 9 skins of the Five-SeveN in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin ranks 8th by price, counting from the dearest.

StatTrak™ and Souvenir

There is also a the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon tracks kills. Right now it is 2.7× dearer than the regular one. There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, yellow and tan stickers continue the trim and slide colours, while muted blue or grey ones blend into the frame. Military and CT-themed designs suit the service-style markings, and a single sticker on the frame keeps the pinstripe layout readable.

What to look at before you buy

• Check the float position within the grade, since the slide edges and muzzle show wear first.
• Look at the yellow pinstripes on the rail and grip, as they reveal wear earlier than the camo.
• Make sure the number badge and emblems are intact if you want a clean look.
• Review any applied stickers and name tag, because they change how the slide and frame read.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who accept visible slide scuffs in exchange for a cheaper entry.
• Fans of the camo theme, which hides moderate wear well.
• Conclusion: a balanced everyday option.
