Show allAllSkin overview
Five-SeveN | Case Hardened is a Restricted pistol finish that imitates colour case-hardened steel. The slide shows mottled olive-gold metal at the front that gives way to deep blue at the rear. In Factory New the heat colours are at full saturation, and the blue and gold read as clean, unbroken patches.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The finish sits mainly on the slide. The front half and the muzzle area are covered in mottled olive, gold and brownish patches. Towards the rear sights these turn into a deep blue zone with hints of purple and warm orange. The frame, accessory rail, trigger guard and grip stay dark grey with lighter grey controls, which frames the coloured slide. The case-hardened pattern differs from copy to copy, so the share of blue and gold changes between pistols. On worn copies the slide edges, the muzzle and the top of the slide lose colour first.
The slide shows its full heat colours with no visible scratches. The blue at the rear is deep and the gold patches near the muzzle are bright. In game the two-tone slide stands out clearly in the hand. The frame and grip look completely clean.
Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07
The float of Five-SeveN | Case Hardened ranges from 0 to 1; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 7% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What to check before buying
- Look at the pattern on the inspect screen, because the amount of blue and gold differs on every copy.
- Check the float within the wear range, since higher values show more scratching on the slide edges and muzzle.
- Inspect the top of the slide closely, as this is where colour loss shows first.
- Note any stickers or name tag and decide whether they suit your plans for the pistol.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the strongest heat colours with no marks.
- Players building a bright, clean CT loadout.
- The choice when full saturation matters most.
