Skin overview

The skin is built on two tones: a soft purple-grey on the slide and grip panel, and an engraved silver filigree on the frame. In Minimal Wear the finish looks almost identical to the cleanest copies, with only faint marks on the sharpest edges. It keeps the full look of the engraving while usually costing less than the top grade.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The slide is painted in a muted lavender with a fine diamond crosshatch texture, while the rail beneath it and the trigger stay in light silver. The frame, trigger guard and back of the grip are covered in dense silver-grey ornamental engraving with curls and filigree.

Tiny scuffs may appear on the front edge of the slide and around the muzzle. The engraving and grip panel remain untouched. In game the difference from Factory New is hard to notice. The overall look stays crisp.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Five-SeveN | Desert Seal is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Arabesque Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
