Skin overview

This is the G3SG1 in a snow-toned camo of white, grey and icy blue patches that cover the handguard, receiver, scope and stock. In Minimal Wear the pattern looks almost the same as a fresh copy, with only faint marks that are hard to spot outside the inspect screen. A sensible pick for anyone who wants a clean-looking winter rifle without paying for the top grade.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The handguard, upper receiver and scope tube carry the main camo: irregular white, light grey and blue-teal blotches with a few darker grey accents. The barrel, muzzle device, front sight and magazine stay dark gunmetal, which frames the light pattern.

Small scratches can appear on the front edge of the handguard and on the scope tube. They are visible mostly in the inspect view and disappear at normal play distance. The receiver, grip and stock still look fresh. For most players this grade reads the same as Factory New.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of G3SG1 | Arctic Camo is 0.06–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Office Collection with 6 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Which stickers suit it

• Check the float within the grade, since a low float in Field-Tested or Well-Worn keeps noticeably more paint on the handguard and scope.
• Inspect the scope tube and handguard edges, as they lose paint first on this finish.
• Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so make sure their placement suits you.
• Look at any applied stickers and name tag, because they do not affect the finish but change the overall look.
