Skin overview

The skin pairs a terrace-like grid of turquoise blocks with a mostly black rifle, so even a tired copy keeps its accent colour. In Well-Worn the metallic paint is visibly thinned and scratched on the receiver and the tubes above the handguard, giving the finish a used, sea-washed character rather than a showroom one.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver, the twin tubes above the handguard and the front sight block carry a geometric pattern of turquoise and white rectangular blocks over dark steel, applied in metallic anodized paint. The ribbed cylindrical handguard, the barrel, the stock, the pistol grip and the curved magazine remain plain black, so the coloured pattern sits as a band through the middle of the rifle.

The anodized coat is worn through to metal on the edges, the front sight and large parts of the upper tubes. Scratches also reach into the flat surfaces of the receiver and break up the block pattern. From first-person view the rifle looks noticeably used, though the colour is still present. Only the most sheltered areas of the receiver remain fairly clean.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Galil AR | Aqua Terrace is 0–0.7; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Galil AR | Aqua Terrace belongs to The Rising Sun Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 14 skins of the Galil AR in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Turquoise, white and silver stickers continue the cool palette of the pattern, while holographic or foil stickers echo the metallic sheen. Placing stickers on the black handguard or magazine keeps the geometric band on the receiver uncovered.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in the same grade keeps noticeably more of the metallic shine.
  • Inspect the front sight, the upper tubes and the receiver edges, as these parts lose paint first.
  • Souvenir copies come with preset stickers, so look at whether they suit your taste before choosing that version.
  • Look at any applied stickers and name tag on regular copies, because they change how the turquoise band reads.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget-minded players who want the colour rather than a perfect finish.
  • Fans of a used, weathered look on their rifles.
  • Affordable entry with visible character.
