Show allAllSkin overview
Galil AR | Chatterbox is a Covert hand-painted finish in bright yellow over brown, with black tiger-like stripes and a grinning skull on the dust cover. The paint is distressed by design, so even the cleanest copies already look aged. In Field-Tested the yellow is at its most saturated and the skull's teeth on the receiver stay sharp and readable.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver is painted yellow with a white-toothed skull grin over the dust cover, outlined in black and set against brown patches. The barrel, front sight and muzzle carry bright yellow, while the ribbed handguard is darker, in grey-brown tones with yellow edges. The magazine is yellow with black ribbing, and the stock is wrapped in yellow with heavy black stripes; the pistol grip stays a plain brown. On worn copies the yellow fades first on the muzzle, the front sight, the edges of the receiver and the raised ribs of the handguard and magazine.
Field-Tested covers only a short slice of this skin's float range, so it is the cleanest grade available. The built-in distressing is visible, but the yellow on the receiver, stock and magazine stays bright. Light scuffs appear on the muzzle and the edges of the dust cover. In game the skull and stripes read clearly at normal distance.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.35–0.38
The whole float range of Galil AR | Chatterbox is 0.35–0.85; Field-Tested takes the 0.35–0.38 segment (6% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Stickers and crafts
Black, yellow and gold stickers blend with the hazard palette, while red or white accents echo the skull's aggressive theme. Placements on the receiver near the skull or along the magazine tend to sit best against the artwork.
What to look at before you buy
- Compare floats within the Field-Tested slice, since lower values keep the skull and receiver yellow noticeably brighter.
- Look at the skull on the dust cover first, because its condition defines how the skin reads in hand.
- Check the muzzle, front sight and handguard ribs, which lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
- Review applied stickers and any name tag, as they change both the look and the value of a copy.
