Skin overview

Tornado relies only on colour blocking, so the condition of the paint is what you notice first. In Field-Tested the sand and blue-grey are still clearly separated, but chips show along edges, the sights and the magazine. The two-tone look holds up and reads as a used service rifle.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, top rails, barrel, front sight and muzzle device are painted a pale sand tone with a slight golden cast. The handguard, magazine, pistol grip and stock are a flat blue-grey, so the rifle reads as two clear colour blocks.

Chips spread along the barrel, front sight, rail edges and the bottom edge of the magazine. The handguard ribs and the corners of the stock begin to lose paint. At normal distance the two-tone layout reads clearly, with wear visible mainly as lighter or darker spots on the edges. Large flat areas of the receiver and stock still look mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Galil AR | Tornado ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 31% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Norse Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Sand, gold and muted blue stickers match the two-tone scheme without breaking it. Placing them on the receiver lets them stand out against the sand colour, while darker stickers read well on the blue-grey magazine or stock.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the wear range, since the paint condition on edges is the only thing that changes the look of this plain finish.
  • Inspect the muzzle, front sight and rail edges first, as these parts lose paint before anything else.
  • Look at the magazine edges and handguard ribs on mid and low grades, where chips become visible in game.
  • A Souvenir version exists, so check whether the copy carries pre-applied stickers and whether they suit you.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want a usable Galil AR skin where the colour blocks still read clearly.
  • Buyers who like light edge wear on a plain finish.
  • In short: a balanced middle grade for everyday play.
