Skin overview

The float range of this skin stops halfway, so Battle-Scarred here is a narrow band near that limit, not a fully stripped gun. The blue-green marble remains on most of the slide, while the edges, the muzzle face and the rear serrations carry the heaviest silver scratches.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The finish covers only the slide: an anodized marble layer of dark blue, teal and green with black veining, with brighter green catching the light near the muzzle. This Phase 1 leans toward cool blue and green, with darker zones toward the rear of the slide and a faint violet tint in the middle.

This is the heaviest wear the skin can have: the edges, the muzzle face and the rear serrations carry dense scratches, and the flat sides have scattered scrapes. Because the range ends halfway, most of the slide still keeps its blue-green marble. In game the colour is easy to recognise, with a visibly worn outline. The grey frame looks the same as on clean copies.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.5

The whole float range of Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Phase 1 is 0–0.5; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.5 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Phase 1 belongs to The 2021 Train Collection, which holds 17 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Holo or foil stickers in teal, blue or silver blend with the marble, while dark designs echo its black veining. Warm gold or red tones clash with the cool palette and are better used as a single accent. Avoid covering the bright green area near the muzzle, which carries most of the colour.

What to check before buying

  • Inspect the slide edges and the muzzle face, since these parts show scratches first.
  • Within one wear, a float closer to the cleaner end means noticeably fewer marks, especially in Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
  • Check the colour layout on the inspect, because the balance of blue, green and dark areas differs between copies of this phase.
  • Souvenir copies come with fixed stickers, so make sure they suit the slide before buying.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget buyers, since even this grade keeps most of the blue-green slide.
  • Fans of heavily scratched edges framing the marble.
  • The entry point to Phase 1 with the colour still clearly present.
