Skin overview

This wear keeps the look that defines the Emerald phase: a solid green slide with smoky dark marbling under a glossy layer. Any marks at this grade are small and sit on the sharpest edges, so from the player's view the pistol reads almost the same as a Factory New copy. It is the grade for buyers who want the clean green without paying for the very top of the range.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The finish covers the slide only: it is a rich emerald green with darker, almost black marbled clouds running along its sides and lighter green highlights near the muzzle and the rear. The muzzle face and front of the slide pick up the brightest reflections, which gives the green a glassy, layered look typical of a candy coat over metallic paint.

Tiny specks may appear at the very edge of the muzzle and on the sharpest corners of the slide. The sides and the marble pattern remain untouched, and the gloss is intact. At normal viewing distance the difference from Factory New is hard to notice. The frame and grip look clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Emerald is 0–0.5; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (16% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Emerald belongs to The 2021 Train Collection, which holds 17 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers placed on the grey frame stand out against the plain polymer and do not cover the green slide. Gold, holo green or black and silver stickers match the emerald tone and the metallic coat.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within its wear, since a low value keeps the muzzle and slide edges cleaner.
  • Look at the inspect screenshot for the placement of the dark marble veins, as some copies show a more even green on the visible side.
  • Examine the muzzle, top of the slide and area around the rear sight, which lose the coat first.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag to make sure they fit how you plan to use the pistol.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a near-clean look at a lower cost than Factory New.
  • Sticker crafters who need a fresh-looking base.
  • Conclusion: a sensible balance between appearance and spending.
