Show allAllSkin overview
Glock-18 | Sand Dune is an Industrial Grade pistol finish in which the slide, frame and magazine are each sprayed a separate shade of sand and tan. In Factory New the paint layers keep even, flat tones, and the edges between the slide and frame stay crisp. The skin's float range starts near the upper limit of this grade, so even Factory New copies are not perfectly pristine.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Factory New
The slide is sprayed a pale sand colour with faint mottling, and the rear serrations carry the same tone. The polymer frame and textured grip are a slightly deeper tan, while the trigger, slide release and small controls sit in a similar muted beige. The magazine base plate stands out in a lighter cream shade, and the dark bore of the barrel is visible at the muzzle. There is no pattern, only solid colour blocks, so the look depends on how intact the paint is. On worn copies the paint chips first on the slide's top edges, the front of the muzzle, the serrations and the edges of the magazine base, then spreads to the flat sides of the slide.
The paint covers every part evenly, with clean transitions between the sand slide, tan frame and cream magazine base. Since this grade occupies only a narrow band of the skin's range, copies look very similar to each other. At normal distance the pistol reads as a clean, uniform beige. The edges of the slide and the muzzle are intact.
Factory New wear: float 0.06–0.07
The whole float range of Glock-18 | Sand Dune is 0.06–0.8; Factory New takes the 0.06–0.07 segment (1% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Alpha Collection with 16 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 6 skins of the Glock-18 in the Industrial Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in brown, olive, gold or muted orange blend with the sand palette, while black or dark red designs give a clear accent against the pale slide. The flat sides of the slide offer the most visible spot for a single focal sticker.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at the slide's top edges and the muzzle, because these are the first places where the paint chips.
- Within each grade compare the float position, as copies at the cleaner end show noticeably less dark metal on the slide.
- Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether those stickers fit what you want.
- Check any applied stickers or name tag, since they change how the plain beige finish looks.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Players who want the cleanest, most even beige finish on their T-side pistol.
- Collectors completing a set of solid colour finishes in top condition.
- A neat option for a calm desert look with no visible paint loss.
