Overview
Guard Map Coin is a collectible tied to the map Guard. It is recognisable by the gold disc with the inscription CS:GO CONTRIBUTOR across the top and the map name at the bottom. It carries the Extraordinary rarity.
Guard Map Coin is a collectible for CS2 of the Extraordinary grade.
Appearance
The coin is struck in a brushed gold tone with a wide raised rim. The centre holds a domed field with a large four-pointed star, framed by a ring of small rectangular notches. Two small stars sit on either side between the upper and lower lettering. The white text stands out clearly against the metal.
How it is used
The coin is equipped in the collectible slot of the inventory. Once equipped, it is shown on the player profile and next to the name on the in-game scoreboard, regardless of team side.
Who it suits
- Players who want a distinctive coin on the scoreboard instead of a standard service medal.
- Collectors who gather map coins and items linked to community maps.
- Fans of the map Guard who want to keep a reminder of it in their inventory.
- A quiet, recognisable choice for anyone who values a classic gold design.
