Overview
Katowice 2019 Diamond Coin is a commemorative collectible tied to the IEM Katowice 2019 CS:GO Major Championship. It is an upgraded version of the event coin: owners raised its level by completing challenges, and each upgrade granted a Souvenir Package.
Katowice 2019 Diamond Coin is a CS2 item of the collectible type of the Extraordinary grade.
How it looks
The coin has a gold rim with the lettering CS:GO MAJOR at the top and KATOWICE 2019 at the bottom, framed by laurel branches and small stars on the sides. The centre holds the CS:GO logo: a gold soldier silhouette with a rifle on a blue and white field. The surface between the rim and the logo is iridescent, with radiating rays and a shifting diamond-like sheen.
How it is used
The coin is equipped from the inventory as a display item and is shown next to the player's name on the scoreboard and in the Steam profile. During the event it tracked progress and provided access to the Pick'Em Challenge, Souvenir Packages, Steam.tv chat flairs and unlimited team graffiti.
Who it suits

- Players who followed IEM Katowice 2019 and want a visible reminder of that Major on their profile.
- Anyone who prefers a bright, iridescent badge on the scoreboard over a plain one.
