Overview
Katowice 2019 Gold Coin is a commemorative collectible tied to the IEM Katowice 2019 CS:GO Major Championship. The coin tracked the owner's progress throughout the event and could be upgraded by completing challenges. Its gold finish and the CS:GO Major lettering make it easy to recognise.
Katowice 2019 Gold Coin is a CS2 item of the collectible type of the Extraordinary grade.
How it looks
The coin is cast in gold with a raised rim carrying the words CS:GO MAJOR at the top and KATOWICE 2019 at the bottom. Laurel branches and small stars sit on both sides between the inscriptions. In the centre, rays spread out from a framed emblem with a gold soldier silhouette over a blue and white background and the CS:GO logo below it.
Where and how it is used
The coin is equipped from the inventory and displayed next to the player's name on the scoreboard and on the profile. During the event it gave access to the Pick'Em Challenge, Souvenir Packages, Steam.tv chat flairs and unlimited team graffiti, and each upgrade let the owner redeem a Souvenir Package.
