M249 | Shipping Forecast (Factory New)

Skin overview

M249 | Shipping Forecast is a hydrographic finish that covers the machine gun in sea-green paint with darker teal radial motifs in a zodiac theme. In Factory New the teal is even and saturated, and the fine lines of the circular emblems stay sharp across the receiver and the box magazine. This is the cleanest way to see the pattern as it was printed.

Item type: machinegun. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver, handguard and feed cover are coated in a sea-green hydrographic with darker teal radial shapes that look like stylised suns or zodiac emblems. The box magazine carries one of the largest and most legible circles on its side, framed by the same teal print. The barrel, sights and bipod area stay in dark gunmetal, while the stock and pistol grip are a plain dark navy blue that frames the green body. On worn copies the print fades first on the sharp edges of the receiver, the feed cover, the corners of the magazine box and other protruding parts, where grey metal shows through.

The teal print is complete on every painted part, with crisp outlines of the radial motifs. Edges of the receiver and the magazine box show no exposed metal. In game the gun reads as a clean, saturated sea-green body with a dark blue stock. Everything on the weapon looks as fresh as the preview image.

What to check before buying

• Look at the float position within the wear range, since the full range of this skin stops early and the worst grades stay relatively mild.
• Check the corners of the box magazine and the feed cover edges, where the print wears off first.
• Look at how the large radial emblem sits on the side of the magazine, as its placement shapes the look of the gun.
• On Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and whether they suit the teal palette.

Who should buy Factory New

• Collectors who want the radial zodiac print in its sharpest form.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean teal base.
• The best choice if the pattern's full clarity matters most.
