Skin overview

This MP7 is easy to spot by its yellow body covered in swirling blue stripes, a pattern that reads almost like a fingerprint from a distance. In Minimal Wear the artwork looks practically complete, with only faint marks on the sharpest edges. It gives nearly the same look as the cleanest grade.

Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The whole weapon is painted yellow and covered in blue lines that curl into swirls, loops and wavy bands of varying thickness. The receiver and top rail carry the densest part of the pattern, while the front handguard, folded vertical grip and long magazine show stretched stripes running along their length.

Tiny scratches may appear on the muzzle tip, the sights and the sharpest edges of the rail. The receiver, magazine, grip and stock still look clean. At normal viewing distance it is hard to tell apart from Factory New.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of MP7 | Akoben is 0–0.7; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

MP7 | Akoben belongs to The Spectrum Collection, which holds 17 skins.

The source is Spectrum Case.

What it costs in each quality

Among 11 skins of the MP7 in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 9th by price, counting from the dearest.

StatTrak™ and Souvenir

There is also a the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon tracks kills. Right now it is 1.6× dearer than the regular one. There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Blue, teal and yellow stickers blend with the artwork, while orange or red ones echo the small accents along the edges. Since the pattern is already dense, simple single-colour stickers on the receiver side tend to look cleaner than busy designs.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the clean end of a grade keep noticeably more paint on the rail and muzzle.
  • Look at the muzzle, sights and bottom of the magazine first, as these parts show wear before the rest of the weapon.
  • The pattern placement shifts between copies, so look at how the swirls fall on the receiver and magazine if the look matters to you.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the busy yellow-blue artwork reads.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-perfect look without paying for the cleanest grade.
  • Sticker crafters, since the receiver sides stay clean in this wear.
  • Anyone who will not notice faint marks on the muzzle in normal play.
  • A sensible balance between appearance and cost.
