Skin overview

This MP9 wears a grey DDPAT, a pixelated camouflage in several shades of grey with no colour accents. At Minimal Wear the pattern is practically intact, and the few marks that appear sit on edges that are hard to spot against the busy pixel texture. For a monochrome camo like this, the step down from Factory New is barely noticeable in hand.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver, the top rail area and the front of the weapon are covered in a grayscale digital camouflage made of small light grey, mid grey and near-black pixel blocks. The same pattern runs over the vertical foregrip and the pistol grip, where it wraps around the moulded ridges.

Light scuffs may appear on the top rail and the sharpest edges of the receiver. They are small and largely hidden by the grey pixel pattern. At normal distance the weapon looks the same as a Factory New copy. Grips, magazine and the sides of the receiver remain clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of MP9 | Dizzy is 0–0.65; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Achroma Collection with 20 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 11 skins of the MP9 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 10th by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

The grey monochrome camo works well with black, white and silver stickers for a uniform, tactical craft. A single sticker in a strong colour on the receiver side stands out clearly against the neutral pixels without clashing.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the top of a grade show noticeably more rubbing on the rail and grips.
  • Look at the top rail, muzzle end and grip ridges first, as these lose paint before anything else.
  • Pattern placement shifts the pixel blocks slightly between copies but does not change the overall look much.
  • Check for applied stickers or a name tag and decide whether they fit your plans for the weapon.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-pristine look without paying for the top grade.
  • Crafters, since the busy camo hides the small marks.
  • A sensible middle ground between a clean look and a lower cost.
