Skin overview

MP9 | Modest Threat is a hand-painted Gunsmith finish in bright orange broken up by black stripes, panel lines and small technical markings. The white 01 on a dark panel of the receiver side is its most recognisable detail. In Factory New the orange is even and saturated, and every thin stripe and marking stays sharp.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver is painted orange with dark horizontal stripes and a grey-black top section, and its side carries a dark panel with a white 01 and small markings. The front of the gun, including the foregrip, follows the same orange base with black ribbed striping, while the muzzle stays dark. The pistol grip and the magazine are orange with black vertical lines and fine technical text running down the magazine. The thin stock arms are dark and end in an orange buttplate. On worn copies the paint goes first on the muzzle end, the top edges of the receiver, the ribs of the foregrip, the base of the magazine and the buttplate.

The orange coat is complete on every part, from the muzzle end to the buttplate. Thin black stripes, the panel lines and the small markings on the magazine have crisp edges. The white 01 on the receiver is fully intact. In game the gun reads as a clean, bright orange MP9 with sharp contrast.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of MP9 | Modest Threat is 0–0.75; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (9% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
