Skin overview

MP9 | Multi-Terrain is a Consumer Grade SMG finish that pairs a tan-brown body with green and darker brown camouflage patches across the lower half of the weapon. In Factory New the hydrographic print is complete, so the edges of the camo blotches stay crisp and the tan base looks even. It is a modest, earthy skin that reads as clean military kit.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The upper receiver, top rail and folding stock are painted in a smooth tan-brown tone. Green and darker brown camo blotches cover the lower receiver, the trigger guard area and both ribbed grips, where the pattern wraps around the ridges. The magazine and the muzzle stay dark grey and contrast with the warm body colour. On worn copies the hydrographic print wears first on the muzzle end, the top rail, the stock edges and the raised ribs of the grips, then spreads to the flat sides of the receiver.

The print is intact on every part, from the top rail to the ribbed grips. Camo edges are sharp and the tan base has no visible scratches. In game the weapon looks uniformly clean at any distance. The dark magazine and muzzle show no marks either.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of MP9 | Multi-Terrain is 0–0.6; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in olive, brown, tan or muted gold blend with the earthy camo. Placing them on the tan upper receiver keeps them readable against the plain base, while dark or holo stickers add contrast on the side of the body.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the float position within the wear grade, since lower values keep the muzzle and top rail cleaner.
  • Inspect the ribbed grips and stock edges, which lose the print first.
  • Souvenir copies come with fixed stickers, so check that they suit you before buying.
  • Check for a name tag or applied stickers if you want a plain copy.

Who should buy Factory New

  • Players who want the cleanest possible version of an inexpensive camo SMG.
  • Collectors completing sets in the best grade.
  • Conclusion: the tidy choice for those who want sharp camo edges.
