Show allAllSkin overview
MP9 | Spy Prototype pairs dark polymer parts with pale blue-grey satin panels covered in fine technical lines, like a sketch of an experimental build. In Factory New every thin line and small marking on the receiver stays sharp, and the light blue accents on the foregrip and stock end look crisp. This is the grade for buyers who want the drawing exactly as designed.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Appearance in Factory New
The receiver and side panels are painted in a pale blue-grey satin with thin darker blue lines, small markings and a tiny red detail near the ejection area, giving a schematic look. The ribbed handguard, barrel shroud, muzzle and pistol grip stay in dark grey polymer, framing the light panels. The vertical foregrip is black with a light blue cap at the bottom, and the thin folding stock ends in a pale blue plate with the same line pattern. The magazine carries matching satin panels with drawing lines. On worn copies paint goes first on sharp edges, the top rail, the magazine base and the stock plate, then the fine lines break up across the flat panels.
The satin panels are uniform and every thin line, marking and the small red detail are fully intact. Edges of the receiver, the magazine and the stock plate show no chipping. In game the gun looks clean and bright against its dark parts. Everything on the weapon reads as on the preview.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The whole float range of MP9 | Spy Prototype is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Blue, white, silver and black stickers match the schematic palette, and holo or foil in cool tones fits the technical look. A single red accent can echo the small red detail on the receiver. The pale side panels are the best spot for placement, where stickers stand out against the satin.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within its wear, since the pale panels show scratches clearly and a low float in a grade looks noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the magazine base, the top rail and the stock plate, as these lose paint first.
- Look at whether the thin lines and small markings on the receiver are still readable.
- On souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and how worn they are.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the line pattern fully intact.
- Sticker crafters who need a clean pale base.
- The choice for a spotless look.
