Overview
Music Kit | Matt Levine, Drifter is a High Grade music kit that replaces the in-game soundtrack. Composer Matt Levine built it as a gritty homage to the Spaghetti Western, and its swaggering frontier mood sets it apart from more electronic kits.
Music Kit | Matt Levine, Drifter is a CS2 item of the music kit type of the High Grade grade. It drops from Masterminds Music Kit Box (on sale since Apr 22, 2020).
Appearance
The music leans on raw swagger and the gritty atmosphere of classic Westerns, in the spirit of the line "go ahead, make my day". The sleeve shows red desert mesas under a pale sky, with a lone figure standing on sandy ground. The title DRIFTER is set in bold red Western-style lettering, and a black vinyl record with an orange label slides out from the side.
Where and how it is used
Once equipped, the kit replaces the music in the main menu, at round start and end, for map objectives, during the ten-second warning and on the death camera. Other players in the match can hear it too, and its MVP Anthem plays for everyone when you earn MVP.
Who it suits
- Fans of Western films and dusty, cinematic soundtracks.
- Players who want an MVP Anthem with a confident, swaggering character.
- Collectors of High Grade music kits with a distinct theme.
- A solid pick for anyone who wants every round to feel like a showdown.
