Music Kit | Rad Cat, Reason

Overview

Music Kit | Rad Cat, Reason is a High Grade music kit that replaces the standard soundtrack of Counter-Strike 2 with music by Rad Cat. It includes its own MVP Anthem, which plays for everyone in the match when the owner earns round MVP.

Music Kit | Rad Cat, Reason is a music kit for CS2 of the High Grade grade. It drops from NIGHTMODE Music Kit Box (on sale since Jan 24, 2024).

Appearance

The kit's card is dark, with a black vinyl record and an orange label sliding out of a sleeve. The sleeve shows a glowing blue abstract shape, thin interface-style lines and a round cat-face emblem. The in-game description frames the music around celebrating every moment of a round, big or small, such as a bomb defuse that earns MVP.

How it is used

Once equipped, the kit replaces the main menu music, round start and end themes, map objective music, the ten-second warning and the death camera track. Other players on the server can hear it, and the MVP Anthem plays for the whole match when you are MVP.

Who it suits

• Players who want to change the default soundtrack of menus and rounds to something of their own.
• Those who like a personal MVP Anthem that the whole lobby hears after a strong round.
• Collectors of music kits by Rad Cat or kits with a dark, electronic-looking visual style.
• In short, a straightforward way to give every match a recognisable sound.
