Overview
Music Kit | Tim Huling, Neo Noir is a High Grade music kit that replaces the standard soundtrack of CS2. Composer Tim Huling builds it on classic film-noir style mixed with contemporary grooves and beats, which gives it a recognisable mood among music kits.
Music Kit | Tim Huling, Neo Noir is a CS2 item of the music kit type of the High Grade grade. It drops from Masterminds Music Kit Box (on sale since Apr 22, 2020).
How it looks
The music follows the film-noir tradition, with tracks styled after classic detective cinema. Modern grooves and beats run underneath, so the sound stays current rather than purely retro. The cover art matches this tone: a grainy black-and-white scene with bare branches, crows and a dark human silhouette, with the title lettered in the upper left. The vinyl record next to the sleeve carries an orange label.
How it is used
Once equipped, the kit replaces the music in the main menu, at round start and end, for map objectives, the ten-second warning and the death camera. Other players in the match hear it too, and its MVP Anthem plays for everyone when you are named MVP.
Who it suits
- Players who like a dark, cinematic mood with a detective-film feel.
- Those who want noir atmosphere without giving up a modern rhythm section.
- Anyone who wants an MVP Anthem that stands apart from the default sound.
