Show allAllSkin overview
Battle-Scarred is the roughest version of this single-colour Negev, with heavy scuffing that turns the even tan into a patchy mix of sand and dark steel. The float range of this skin ends before the most extreme values, so the gun keeps its overall tan identity even here. It is the cheapest way to get the look.
Item type: machinegun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver, barrel shroud, handguard and folding stock are painted in one matte tan shade with no pattern. The muzzle device, top rail and sights carry the same sand colour, while smaller hardware, the feed chute and the ammo box stay dark grey and khaki, framed by tan panels.
Heavy wear covers the barrel, muzzle, rails and stock, with large dark areas breaking the tan. Receiver sides and handguard show noticeable scuffing too. Because the skin's range stops early, some tan survives on flat panels. In game it reads as a patchy sand-and-steel machine gun.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.75
The whole float range of Negev | Raw Ceramic is 0–0.75; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.75 segment (40% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
The plain tan surface takes almost any sticker, but black, brown, olive and gold designs blend into the desert tone best. Bright red or teal stickers create a strong contrast on the receiver side. The flat receiver panel and the stock are the most visible spots.
What to look at before you buy
- On a solid-colour finish the float decides the look, so check where the copy sits within its wear grade.
- Look at the muzzle, top rail and stock corners in the inspect view, since paint chips show there first.
- There is no pattern to hunt, so pay only for float, stickers or a name tag.
- StatTrak™ does not exist for this skin, while Souvenir copies do and usually carry stickers already applied.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget players who want a Negev skin at the lowest entry point.
- Those who like a heavily scuffed sand-and-steel finish.
- Conclusion: the cheapest way into this look.
